CAS

CAS stands for Creativity, Action, and Service (CAS). It is one of the basic requirements for the IB diploma, part of the "core" at the center of the hexagon, or circle as it is now. CAS is intended to provide a focus for students outside the demanding academic school curriculum and supports the idea that creative, physical and social experiences are as important as the academic ones in the development of an individual.
